These terms govern your use of SaveIt. Please read them โ they are written in plain language and cover everything you need to know.
By using SaveIt, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. If you are under 13, you may not use SaveIt. If you are between 13 and 17, you need a parent or guardian's consent.
SaveIt is an AI-powered content summarization app. You submit a URL โ from Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, Reddit, or any webpage โ and SaveIt retrieves that content, generates a summary using AI, and stores it for you to access anytime.
SaveIt is provided "as a service" over the internet. You need an internet connection to save new content; previously cached content may be viewable offline.
You must create an account to use SaveIt. You can sign up with:
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Do not share your authentication codes with anyone. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately.
Each person may maintain one SaveIt account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits or after being suspended is a violation of these terms and may result in permanent suspension of all accounts.
You may delete your account at any time from Profile โ Account Settings โ Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and irreversible. We verify your identity with a code sent to your registered email before deleting.
Current prices for each paid plan are displayed in the app at the point of purchase, in your local currency. All plans also include hourly save limits and per-file upload size limits to keep the service fast and fair; the app shows your remaining saves at all times. No plan offers unlimited saves โ every tier has defined limits, and we enforce fair-use caps to prevent abuse.
Paid plans (Pro, Max, Ultimate) are auto-renewing monthly subscriptions purchased through Apple's In-App Purchase system:
Monthly save counts reset on a rolling 30-day basis anchored to your signup (re-anchored when you first upgrade to a paid plan). This is not tied to a calendar month. You can see your reset date and remaining saves in the Profile tab.
If a save fails due to an error on our end โ unsupported content, processing failure, or a platform that returns no usable content โ the save does not count against your monthly limit. You will not be charged a save for content we failed to summarize.
All paid subscriptions are billed exclusively through the Apple App Store using in-app purchases. All billing, payment processing, refunds, and subscription management are handled by Apple. SaveIt never sees or stores your payment card information.
Refunds for in-app purchases are governed by Apple's refund policy. To request a refund, use Apple's standard refund process through the App Store or reportaproblem.apple.com. We are unable to process refunds directly.
We reserve the right to change plan limits, features, and pricing over time. Material changes that reduce what an active paid subscriber receives will be communicated in advance where practicable, and always apply no earlier than your next renewal. Free plan limits may be adjusted at any time without notice.
You agree to use SaveIt only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others. SaveIt is a summarization tool โ it processes publicly accessible content from social media platforms. We have no control over what gets posted on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter/X, Reddit, or any other platform. Those platforms are responsible for their own content moderation. SaveIt is simply a tool that reads what you point it at.
Absolute zero tolerance โ no exceptions: Using SaveIt to access, save, process, or distribute child sexual abuse material (CSAM), child exploitation material (CEM), or any content that depicts, sexualizes, or exploits minors in any way is strictly prohibited. SaveIt does not proactively monitor or review content saved by users โ we are a passive tool with no visibility into individual posts. Upon becoming aware of any such violation, we will take immediate action: permanent account termination and reporting of the material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or relevant law enforcement authorities. We cooperate fully with all lawful investigations.
SaveIt does not host, create, or publish social media content. We summarize content that already exists on third-party platforms. The social media platforms from which content is sourced โ Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter/X, Reddit, and others โ each maintain their own community standards, content policies, and moderation systems. SaveIt is not responsible for content that exists on those platforms, has no ability to remove content from those platforms, and makes no representations about the legality or appropriateness of any content available on them.
By submitting a URL to SaveIt, you represent and warrant that:
You must be at least 13 years old to use SaveIt. Users between the ages of 13 and 17 ("minors") may only use SaveIt with the express consent of a parent or legal guardian. By allowing a minor to use SaveIt, the parent or guardian agrees to these Terms of Service on the minor's behalf and accepts full responsibility for the minor's use of the service. SaveIt bears no liability for a minor's use of the service where that use was not authorized or supervised by a parent or guardian.
Plan limits apply to individual accounts. Using multiple accounts, shared credentials, or other methods to pool limits is prohibited and will result in suspension.
You retain ownership of any content you create within SaveIt โ your notes, folder names, and organizational structure. By using SaveIt, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display this content solely to provide the service to you.
The URLs you submit point to content owned by third parties (creators, publishers, platforms). SaveIt summarizes this content under the principle of fair use for personal, non-commercial reference. You are responsible for ensuring your use of that content complies with the original platform's terms of service and applicable law.
The SaveIt name, logo, app design, codebase, and AI prompting system are owned by SaveIt. These terms do not grant you any rights to use our intellectual property beyond what is necessary to use the app.
Summaries generated by SaveIt are created by AI processing third-party content. We do not claim copyright over AI-generated summaries. However, mass reproduction or redistribution of summaries generated by SaveIt is prohibited under these terms.
SaveIt respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. If you are a copyright owner (or authorized to act for one) and believe material stored or displayed through SaveIt infringes your copyright, send a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. ยง 512) to our designated agent at legal@saveitapp.io with the subject line "DMCA Notice," including:
Upon receipt of a valid notice, we will promptly remove or disable access to the identified material. The affected user may submit a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. ยง 512(g); if we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material unless the complainant files a court action within the statutory period. We terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
Note that SaveIt stores personal-reference summaries at each user's individual direction; the original content remains hosted on, and controlled by, the third-party platform where it was published.
SaveIt is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter/X, Reddit, Facebook, or any other platform. Their names and logos are the property of their respective owners.
Social media platforms contain billions of pieces of content posted by hundreds of millions of users worldwide. SaveIt has no ability to monitor, review, moderate, filter, or control what is posted on any third-party platform. SaveIt is not liable for the nature, legality, accuracy, or appropriateness of any content that exists on third-party platforms, regardless of whether a user attempts to summarize that content through our service.
Each platform has its own terms of service, community guidelines, and content moderation policies. Platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter/X, and Reddit expressly prohibit illegal content, content depicting minors sexually, terrorist content, and other harmful material. Those platforms โ not SaveIt โ are responsible for enforcing those policies on content hosted on their infrastructure.
You are responsible for complying with the terms of service of any platform whose content you save through SaveIt. If a platform's terms prohibit the type of access SaveIt performs, you should not save content from that platform. SaveIt is a personal productivity tool โ use it responsibly and lawfully.
Platform APIs and content availability can change at any time. We cannot guarantee that content from any specific platform will always be processable. We will not issue refunds or credits if a platform blocks access to its content.
SaveIt uses AI to generate summaries and transcripts. AI-generated content:
SaveIt summaries are personal reference tools. Always consult the original source before making any decision based on a summary.
We continuously refine our AI prompts to improve summary quality, but we make no warranty that any summary is complete, accurate, or appropriate for any particular purpose.
SaveIt is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if you:
We may also terminate accounts after extended periods of inactivity (12+ months) with reasonable advance notice.
Upon termination, your right to use SaveIt ceases immediately. Sections 5, 8, 9, 10, and 12 survive termination.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware and applicable federal law of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Before filing any formal dispute, you agree to contact us at legal@saveitapp.io and give us 90 days to attempt to resolve the issue informally. Most disputes can and should be resolved this way.
If informal resolution fails, any dispute arising from or relating to these terms or your use of SaveIt shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). You waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action lawsuit against SaveIt.
Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction solely to prevent irreparable harm, or may pursue claims that qualify for small claims court in their jurisdiction โ provided that such claims remain on an individual basis only and are not consolidated with any other claims.
We may update these Terms of Service as the service evolves. When we make material changes, we will either:
Minor clarifications and non-substantive edits may be made at any time without notice. Your continued use of SaveIt after any changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree with the revised terms, you should stop using SaveIt and delete your account.
